Educational aim: talking about prices for food and drink.
Teaching aim: At the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to review vocabulary about food and drink, use “ How much “ to talk about prices.

1. Warm – up: (5’)
- Ask Ss play game”Bingo”
 a can of soda, a bottle of water, some rice, a glass of orange juice, some meat, some oranges, some fish, some vegetables, some chicken, a dozen eggs
2. Presentation: (10’)
- Set the scene
- Give vocabulary:
+ sandwich (n)
+ lemon juice (n)
+ thousand 
+ fried rice (n)
+ bowl of (n)
+ ice – cream (n)
- Have Ss practice new words.
- Say the model sentences:
+ What would you like for breakfast?
[ I’d like some milk. 
+ What would you like for lunch?
] I’d like some rice, fish and a banana.
 What would you like for + N (meal)?
 I’d like some / a / an
- Ask Ss to read a menu in B5 on page 120 then anwer some questions:
 + How much is a fried rice?
 + How much is a cake?
 + How much is a sandwich? 
- Explain structure:
 How much + be + S ? 
 It / they + be + price 
Ex: How much are they
 [Two thousand five hundred dong.
3. Practice: (18’)
- Play the tape part B2/p. 120 - 3 times, ask Ss listen and repeat.
- Ask Ss practice dialogue with partner.
- Call some pairs practice before class.
4. Production: (10’)
- Put a menu on the board.
- Say the model sentences.
- Have Ss practice in pairs.
