 GIỚI THIỆU VÀ HƯỚNG DẪN CÁCH HỌC MÔN TIẾNG ANH 6
I. Đặc điểm sách giáo khoa lớp 6:
 - Tiếng Anh 6 Thí điểm gồm 12 đơn vị bài học, mỗi bài tương ứng với 1 chủ 
 đề và được chia ra 7 tiết học.
 - Các chủ điểm bài học được xây dựng từ dễ đến khó trải đều các kỹ năng 
 nghe, nói, đọc, viết. 
 - Có kèm theo đĩa CD cho từng bài đọc, nghe, nói.
II. Phương pháp học Tiếng Anh:
 1.Ở trường: 
 - Ghi chép bài đầy đủ
 - Lắng nghe giáo viên, hợp tác tốt trong các hoạt động mà giáo viên yêu cầu.
 - Nhanh nhẹn, năng động và sáng tạo khi hoạt động cặp nhóm với các bạn 
 cùng lớp.
 - Hăng hái phát biểu ý kiến xây dựng bài.
 2.Ở nhà: 
 - Học thuộc những ghi chép ở lớp, viết từ vựng nhiều lần.
 - Làm thêm bài tập trong sách bài tập.
 - Luyện nghe trong đĩa CD.
 - Soạn nghĩa của từ mới.
 - Xem các chương trình truyền hình bằng tiếng Anh.
III. Vật dụng cần có để học tốt tiếng Anh:
 - Sách giáo khoa thí điểm, sách bài tập thí điểm ( Nhà xuất bản Giáo dục)
 - Băng, đĩa CD để luyện nghe
 - Bút chì, gôm, bảng con, thước, bút mực, giấp nháp 
IV. Chương trình tiếng Anh 6 thí điểm:
 - Mỗi tuần 3 tiết học chính khóa, 2 tiết nâng cao
 - HK1 19 tuần; HK2 18 tuần
 - Điểm miệng: từ 1->2 cột; điểm 15’ từ 3->4 cột; điểm 1 tiết: 2 cột; điểm thi 1 
 cột
 - Bài thi sẽ tập trung cả 4 kỹ năng
V. Một số thuật ngữ dùng trong lớp học:
 - May I go out? May I come in? ( Students’)

 Lesson 1: Getting Started - A special day
I. Objectives:
1. Knowledge, skills, attitude:
a. Knowledge: By the end of this lesson, students can know the key language and 
structures to be learnt in this unit.
 - Vocabulary: the items related to the school.
 - Structures: The present simple and the present continuous tense.
 - Methods: Communicative approach
b. Skills: Listening and speaking
c. Attitude: To educate the students how to love their school.
2. Competence and quality:
- Self-learning ability: be able to use will for the future and Modal verb MIGHT for a 
unsure possibility in the future
- Solved matter capacity: be able to describe a school and school activities
- Cooperation capacity: Practice in individual, pair-work, group-work 
- Presented and exchanged information capacity: Ability to use language
II. Preparation:
