Teaching aim: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to practice offers and requests more fluently, listen and put words in correct order.

1. Warm - up: (5’)
Have Ss play game ”Giving Synonyms”

2. Pre - listening: (10’)
- Have Ss look at the picture of food / drink in B1 on page119 and try to remember as many words as possible.
- Have Ss work in individual.

- Put away the picture and ask Ss to go to the board and write the words they’ve seen from memory.
3. While - listening: (18’)
- Ask Ss to look at the picture again, write the name of food and drink in each picture
- Call some students to write the answer
- Checks and corrects students’ answer
- Ask Ss to look at the pictures.
- Hold up the first picture and say the model sentences:
+What would you like for lunch?
+ I’d like some meat, rice and vegetables.
- Have Ss work in pairs.

- Correct their mistakes.
4. Post – listening: (10’)
- Play the tape part A4/page 120 3 times, asks Ss to listen and number pictures.
- Call some Ss read the answer.

- Ask Ss to learn by heart vocabulary
