2. Pre – Writing: (10)
- Pre-teach vocabulary: folder, wardrobe, towel rack, lighting fixture, jar, beneath.
- Check vocabulary (Rub out and remember)
3. While – Writing: (15)
- Ask students to read the description of Hoas room.
- Ask comprehension questions.
1. What is there on the left of the room?
2. What are there on the desk?
3. Where is the bookshelf?
4. Is the desk beside the bed?
5. What is there on the right side of the room?
6. Where is the wardrobe?
- Ask students to describe Hoas kitchen on the page 33, using the cues.
- Ask students cross-check the answer.
- Have students read the answer.
- Correct mistakes if necessary.

There is a refrigerator in the right corner of the room.
Next to the refrigerator are the stove and the oven.
On the other of the oven, there is a sink and next to the sink is a towel rack.
The dish rack is/stands on the counter, to the right (side) of the window and beneath the shelves.
On the shelves and on the counter beneath the window, there are jars of sugar, flour and tea.
In the middle of the kitchen, there is a table and four chairs.
The lighting fixture is above the table, and directly beneath the lighting fixture is a vase with flowers.

- Ask students to talk about one of their rooms in the house (living room / bed room / kitchen).
- Ask students to write a description of their living room / bed room / kitchen.
