I. OBJECTIVES:
Teaching aim: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to use present progressive to talk about actions happening now, ask and answer about some activities.
PREPARATIONS: Book, cassette tape

1. Warm - up: (5’)
- Ask Ss to answer questions:
1. What time do you get up?
2. How do you go to school?
3. Do you walk to school?
- Check.
2. Presentation: (15’)
- Show picture:
- Introduce some new words.
1. video games (n)
2. to ride (a bike) (v)
3. to drive (v)
4. to wait for (v)
- Ask Ss to practice the new words.
- Check vocabulary.
- Set the scene: They are talking about What they are doing.
- Ask Ss to listen to the tape. 
- Give the model sentences by answering the questions
 +What does he do?
 + Did he play video games?
 + Is he playing video games?
 (+) S + tobe (am/ is/ are) + V - ing.
 (-) S + tobe + not + V- ing.
 (?) Tobe + S + V- ing? - Yes / No .
3. Practice: (10’)
- Ask Ss to look at the pictures.
- Say the model sentences:
 + I’m playing video games.
 + She’s riding her bike.
- Ask Ss to practice questions:
+ What is he doing?
 → He is playing video games.
- Call some Ss to practice.
- Ask Ss to look at the picture part 3/ p.83.
- Ask them to answer questions part 3 in pairs.
- Call some pairs to practice before class.
Ex: What are you doing?
I am doing homework.
4. Production: (13’)
- Ask Ss to answer question:

- Call some Ss to answer question.
