I. Objectives:

1. Educational aims: Be polite and friendly in communication

2. Teaching aims: Ss can make and respond to introduction

II. Preparations: Book, cassette player, pictures

1. Warm - up (7’)

_ Ask Ss to play game: Jumble words

_ Divide the class into 2 teams. Ss from 2 teams go to the board and write the correct words. The team which writes more correct words first wins the game

1. isrh = rich

2. locke = clock

3. tivis = visit

4. larma = alarm

5. aienl = alien

6. pscea = space

_ Play game

_ Work in group

2. Pre - listening (10’)

_ Have Ss look at the pictures and match name of activities with the right pictures

A.Walls in the park

B. Go to restaurant

C. Catch the bus

_ Have Ss guess what Tim and Carlos are going to do by choosing the right picture

_ Group work

_ Match the pictures with right names

3. While - listening (8’)

_ Have Ss listen to the tape twice and check their answer

_ Get feedback and correct

_ Guess what Tim and Carlos are going to do

_ Listen and choose the right activities

4. Post - listening (15’)

_ Set the sence

_ Make the right order for the mixed order conversation between Nga and Maryam

_ Get feedback and correct

_ Have Ss practice the dialogue

_ Call some pairs to check

_ Call 3 pairs to check
