Warm-up & lead-in (3’) Games: word search - Give each St a copy the task below ( prepared on the photocopies) - Put Ss into groups of four - set a time limit of 5 minutes - ask Ss to complete the puzzle using the clues provide, and find out the missing word going down - as the time is up, get groups to hand in their results - award a point for each correct word an five points for the missing word going down. - the group with the most points will be the winner. - elicit the answers to the following questions from Ss. + What does it mean by “volunteer”? + have you ever done volunteer work? + what kind of volunteer work have you done.?
