- Have Ss play game:”Giving directions”:
DaLong primary school, DaLong post office, DaTong high school
2. Pre – Listening: (10’)
- Ask Ss questions:
+ What do you in the map?
+ How many roads are there?
- Introduce some places in the tape rip: Bus station, hotel, pagoda, temple, restaurant
- Set the scene: we are going to listen to the tape about the position of the places mentioned above on the map. Look at the map and listen to the tape to match the places to their correct positions.
- Give new words:
+ High way (n)
+ Tourist information center (n)
3. While – Listening: (18’)
- Play the tape 2 times, ask Ss to listen to the tape.
- Ask Ss to listen again to check the answer.
- Ask Ss to compare the answer with partner.
- Call some Ss to read the answer.
- Listen and give the answer:
