I- Objectives :

- to help Ss review whole knowledge which they leant from unit 1 to unit 7

- Ss can have the skill of doing examination tests

II - language contents

A. Grammar : fractions, Relative clause

B. Vocabulary :

- haunted - regulation - eggplant -overpopulation

III- Techniques :

Communicative approach.

IV- Teaching aids :

Textbooks, color chalk, photos, ruler

V- Procedures

A. Classroom procedures (1’)

- greetings and checking attendances.

B. Review of the previous lesson

I- Objectives : 
- to help Ss review whole knowledge which they leant from unit 1 to unit 7
- Ss can have the skill of doing examination tests

- greetings and checking attendances.
B. Review of the previous lesson

Teacher’s activities

 Activity 1: fractions
- give two examples with two fractions : 2/3 an 12/ 123 and ask SS to say out them
- Sts give their answers 
- T gives comments , an review more knowledge about how to say / write a fraction
- give more exercises and ask them to do.
- after SS finish, call some students go to bb to do.
- correct them.
Activity 2 : relative clauses	
- write on the board some sentences with relative clauses:
- Ask SS what these sentences have in common (expected : they all contain a relative clause.)
- Tell SS to rewrite the sentences in other possible ways: 
- underline the phrases and tell SS to pay attention to these:
+ the position and function of relative pronouns : who, who, which , that, whose and of relative adverbs
+ how to combine each pair of sentence by using relative pronouns or adverbs
- give them more exercises (in the textbook) and ask them to do first
- after they finish, call some students to do , and correct them.
I- Fractions:
3/4 : three - quarters
3/5 : three – fifths
1/3 : one – third
1/2 : a half
7/10: seven-tenth
Ex: a. Louis Armstrong was the first man who landed on the Moon.
b. the man who is talking to the manager is my new flat mate
- who: person / subject
- whom : person / object
- which : thing
- that = who, whom, which in some cases
- whose = his, her, their
- when : adverbial phrase of time
- where: adverbial phrase of place
Ex:
1. The boy is my friend. He is over there.
à They boy who is over there is my friend.
2. This is a good pen. It is made in Japan.
à This is a good pen which is made in Japan.
D. Homework : (1’)
Complete the rest of exercises in the book
E. Remark:
Students are weak in apply the structures which they have been learnt.
